Carl Mosk is Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Victoria. His past publications include books and articles on Asian population and economic history, Japanese labor markets, international trade and international migration, and nationalism and its relationship to economic history. His current research concerns the long-run relationship between capitalism and religion worldwide. He lives on Pender Island in British Columbia, Canada.
